From spin-off to interna­tional consultancy

ebp-consulting GmbH was formed as a spin-off from the two leading Fraun­hofer Insti­tutes: The Insti­tute of Manu­facturing Engineer­ing and Auto­mation in Stutt­gart (IPA) and the Insti­tute of Material Flow and Logis­tics in Dort­mund (IML). As a close associa­tion has existed with the BMW Group ever since the company's founda­tion, along­side the head­quarters in Stutt­gart, a second loca­tion was estab­lished in Munich already during the first year of trading.

Steady growth at a consis­tently high standard of quality has cul­minated in the develop­ment of a globally active team of experi­enced con­sultants from wide-ranging different fields of exper­tise and from several diffe­rent countries. Follow­ing the forma­tion of ebp-manage­ment consult­ing nv/SA in Brussels, the company's globali­zation strategy was actively pursued with entry into the Chinese market by the subsi­diary ebp-management Ltd. in Hong Kong. Today, we are also globally repre­sented in key indus­trial regions with offices in Shanghai, Johannes­burg and New York, allow­ing us to provide reliable and competent support to our clients across conti­nents, no matter how big the project.

Our company has grown and developed contin­uously over the years on the back of sound, success­ful consult­ancy services to our clients. As a medium-sized consult­ancy enter­prise, our further growth depends on sustain­able client satis­faction, the consis­tent develop­ment of business rela­tions, and the culti­vation of new client groups.
